I have done this on a C3 by using an Al Knoch Video. I am assuming that he rents videos for C4s too. On the C3 you just needed some 3M trim cement and a staple gun. Call him at 800-880-8080. If you do this then we would like to see some pics of work in progress and the finished results. Good luck!
I paid $325 for my top, don't buy a cheap top, I paid $125 for the conversion kit from my GM dealer, you can also buy it from Al Knosh. Both kits are the same and made by ASC. (sucks, few pieces of plastic, bad directions and a few rivets with 2 spring. Oh well) I spent 2 hours with the kit and 4 hours with a friend making sure I didn't get any wrinkles it the top. It is my second convertile top install and both came out great. Just take your time and don't rush it. make sure that the straps between your bows are tight. I had to cut mine and staple them because they have stretched throught the years. GOOD Luck
I'm looking to replace mine this spring.I have a 94. Do the new tops come with rear windows(glass) installed and do they have the weatherstripping already attached? If not, then I got some more suckin' up to do to the wife
the glass is installed, the weather stripping will also need to be purchased, even if yours was in mint condition it would be near impossible to remove
