Default LT4 question

Do all 96 6 spd cars have LT4s? In my search for late C4s, I never seem to see any manual trans cars that are LT1s, but then again, most of them I see are autos. Thanks again from a super noob!

Yes - all 96 6-spds are LT4s, and all LT4s are 6-spds.

LT4 is the bargain corvette these days. Good luck finding one; be sure to drive several.

Yep... the LT4 was only offered with the ZF6 tranny... finally the General did something right. Coming from the F-body world, it was always a pain to see the higher hp motors get backed by some cheesy automatic crapmission. I was pleased to realize that every manual car in 1996 had the higher hp motor.

Just remember, there were only two combinations in '96; the LT-1 w/ auto and the LT-4 w/ manual.
