93JetJocky, i know you didn't try to mislead anyone.
you are right on with your fuel moding description. my only issue was only with the comment that the O2's are used for idle control. i think what threw you off was the use of "open loop" and "closed loop" in the moding descriptions - they refer to O2 open/closed loop for mixture control, not for idle speed.
as far as my own disclaimer goes, although my info is based on my exposure to engine control algorithms for other vehicles, they don't necessarily apply to our Corvettes. as a result a few people have rightfully called
