I'm thinking about adding ghost flames to my c4 some day and I was wondering what you guys think. Plus I can't seem to find any pictures of c4's with ghost flames. Can you guys link me to some good ones if you know of any.

The reason you can't find pictures is because there aren't many C4s with 'em! Personally, I really like flames - especially ghosts - but alot of people will disagree...especially with respect to the C4 Vettes. Keep trying, though, and I'm sure you'll eventually find the pics you're looking for.
first of all I don't like flames and I think they only fit something like a flat black custom rat hot type car. SECOND....a corvette with flames doesn't really seem right to me it's a sports car not a hot rod or nothing.
I think that is the C5 I saw in a magazine. Black with purple ghost flames. Looked phenom! Here is the thing though, you CANNOT look at a c5 and think "Sweet, vettes look great with ghost flames." I think the key is C5's look good with ghost flames because it goes well with their lines. Look at a C4, its razor sharp. A C5 is curvy. Now look at flames, straight and jagged or curvy?
That said, I think flames for the most part on a c4 just don't fit. Wrong lines, wrone era, wrong style.
No offense to anyone, just an opinion.
It looks like I'm going to have to play with it in photoshop and see how I can get it to look before I make my final decision. You all make very interesting points and I thank you very much for them. But I will have to see what it will look like

Smart move...and for what it's worth - the more "faint" the flames, the better.

Yes, that car was in a magazine....He is a member of a local Corvette club in Dallas. You think the the flames are cool...you should see the skulls that pop out of the paint when the light hits it just right...it is Awesome!!

I like them on the C3's & C5's, yet cannot picture them on a C4 or C6.

I like the look of flames... but I will never pay to have them on my car. I did see a Ridez show where some guy in Washington paints flames on cars called "Real Fire" because of the realism of the flame job. That had to be the coolest flame job I've ever seen

His paint jobs are awesome! They probably cost more than most peoples cars. Here they are:
I think ghost flames COULD look awesome on a c-4 if you use the right colors and accessories (wheels, tint...) I saw a prowler once that was silver with very faint metallic gray ghost flames. This car looked amazing. But then again prowlers are in a class all their own when it comes to style. The key IMO is color combination. If the colors contrast too much, their not ghost flames, their just flames. If the colors are too close and don't contrast enough, then they may not be noticeable. IMO if your gonna go all out on the paint, then you have to go all out on the whole car, anything less, to me, looks incomplete; unfinished. If you want some ideas for colors to use check out some custom motorcycle sites or magazines. Bikers can come up with pretty amazing paint schemes.

If I win the lotto tonight..I will be putting them on my Black 427 TT.
Damn! This guy has brought airbrushing to an all new level! Personally, I'll bet flames would look great on a C4. Although my guess is that it would somewhat de-value the car.
