F/S TPI/L98 stainless steel bolt set + special ball-end hex driver
The point of this started to eliminate the annoying Torx bolts. This ball-end driver will make the PITA bolts easy as pie to access and save a bunch of time if you mess with your TPI as much as I do. It even makes it possible to remove the fuel rails without loosening any of the lower runner bolts. :yesnod: And to top it off, they look pretty nice.
I'm buying all these fasteners in bulk, so I plan to make extra sets. The 100-piece set will consist of:
Allen head bolts for the: intake runners (20), fuel rail (6), throttle body (4), distributor cover (3), valve covers (8), throttle body plate (6), and all necessary washers
Hex bolts and washers for the: throttle cable bracket (3), thermostat housing (2), and all necessary washers
(1) ball-end socket bit Allen 6" driver
Price is $50 (shipping included) to anywhere in 48 states. If you have perimeter bolt valve covers, please say so, and it'll cost you $4 less.
My Paypal id is: khasting@calpoly.edu. IM me if you need my snail mail address to pay with money order or check. And be sure I get your shipping address.
I have one set not spoken for... and maybe a second one. I haven't been able to get ahold of that buyer, so if I don't hear from him, his set will be up for grabs too.

I'm buying all these fasteners in bulk, so I plan to make 9 extra sets. The 92-piece set will consist of:
Allen head bolts and washers for the: intake runners (20), fuel rail (6), throttle body (4), distributor cover (3), valve covers (8), and throttle body plate (6)
(1) ball-end socket bit Allen 6" driver

This really does look like a very cool setup. I wish someone would tell me if these bolts are harder, as hard or whatever compared to stock. I don't want to replace something that works good but is inconvenient w/ something that looks cool, but may fail sooner.
Thanks,
Rob

What's the other pieces that make 92?

FWIW, I have an all stainless allen head setup on my TPI. Believe me, it makes assembly/disassembly much easier than with the Torx crap. And it does look much better than the black bolts.
As far as being harder or softer, I couldn't tell. I do know that it was much easier for me to strip the torx bolts than these allen heads, as the allens have a deeper head and you can get more of the tool in it to twist.

Ok guys, I think I've got 8 confirmed buyers so far, so that leaves one set if no one backs out. I'll do an additional 5 or more sets if there's quick demand, but the bulk order will ship out to me tomorrow, so if I don't hear from at least 14 of you by tomorrow morning, I'll just order enough for 9 kits. (Does that all make sense?)
here's the confirmed buyers so far:
vinnies87, jimmyd, chillcat, Muffin, steelblue91, bogus, jrriflecoach, usasonlyway.
My paypal account shows only one payment, from steelblue, and jimmyd says he'll pay by mail. If you want to make sure you get a set, get the payment in.
Muffin and chillcat: your profile lists 85 Corvette, so I'm guessing you wont need the long valve cover centerbolts, so your cost will be $46. Please confirm.
jrriflecoach and USAsonlyway: your profiles list an 86, let me know if you have perimeter or center bolts. If perimeter, send $46, not $50.

I'll go if you need one more. Put me down for the center bolt one eventhough I have an 86 with peri. bolts.

bogus & chillcat, i got both of your payments. Looks like I've got 9 sets reserved, and payment on 4.
If we get up to 14 orders, I'll add in some more bolts to all the orders, I guess for the thermostat housing, throttle bracket, etc.

I can go for a set too. I just need to know if it is still possible to get in on the deal. I am Paypal-ready, and just need a go ahead.

Looks like we'll have enough for at least 14 sets... there's 13 confirmed so far... 6 payments received.
All of you guys are in, plus whoever else gets the word in before I place the order tomorrow morning.
