When a tach does this
I assume it's not good. Any ideas on the fix? With engine not running it's at rest at 0, when running it pegs off the scale.

This is just the excuse you need to convince the wife to get the new C6. You just need to say, "Honey, the repair will be in the thousands and it just makes fiscal sense to get a new one."
