Default Missfire when you stomp on it

I'm not even sure if this is a missfire. Probably an electronic bug of some sort. If you stomp on it from a dead stop or a roll, it seems like a few cylinders will fire, pause, and then rev up normally.

I was thinking maybe something TPS related where it's not getting enough fuel or too much fuel?

Has anyone seen this before?

The TPS is easy enough to check.

My LT4 had a similar problem but it would pause, cut out, between 5xxx and 6000 RPM. turned out to be the MAF.
