Default another hp/quartermile question

running about 400rwhp on a C4 with a ZF/3.45 rear end and a redline of around 6700 what do you think a quarter mile time would be with a really good launch. if the ZO6 can do it in almost a flat 12 with 400flywheel hp i think high 11s should be possible wiht the right tires

If you stick a launch with a set of Slicks then probably mid to low 11's easy. I have went 11.7 with a 1.8 60' and limmited traction so I am hoping for low 11's this year on a good day with good air. It will be interesting

Get some stick tires. I'm in the same boat. Running street tires I can't hook up for the launch or 1st-2nd shift and 2nd to 3rd shift...My mph is good enough for a low 11 sec time. Just need some tires.

Best traction i have had on street tires is with Kuhmo tires, they stick.

1996man, you got an auto or stick,,, if a stick what RPM do you shift?

I am changing over to 3.45's as we speak, hoping to help the ZF out a little, anything 11's is OK for me.

i said in my first post it was a ZF(6 speed manual) I am not amking this kind of power yet. i am mostly stock right now so i shift about 6300rpm. but after my cam swap and engine rebuild next spring i should be shifting around 6700.

I missd the ZF part, I guess I will know about shift points before you do, as soon as the track is open, I'll be on my way.

Good luck!
