my electrical has acting funny today, first the radio wouldn't stop turning on an off by itself, then it stopped doing that when I pulled the radio out, but now when you open the door it's supposed to turn everything off, it doesn't every time, but it does shut off after the 10 min. or whatever it is, and now also the interior lights are staying on when I'm driving very strange, I don't know if anyone has had anything similar happen, but it's kind of annoying because I don't really know where to start looking for the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
Must do a visual inspection of connectors grounds battery terminals
all ground straps.
Grab wires and wiggle!!
what work was done last on your 95 vette and were?
The vette's need to return the voltage to complete the circuits.
Get a wiring diagram and look what is common the the problem area!!!
Try looking at the door switches and push button in the jamb. Mine were worn and wouldn't push the door switch all the way in and the lights would come on with the doors shut and the alarm would set itself off.
Look at the drivers side first, mine had a push in flat clip that I wedged out about 1/16th and the problems stopped. Bought new ones from the dealer.
i recently changed the clutch and had to replace a few terminals, cause for some reason there were wires grounded to the bell housing, but now it seems like an issue with the door being shut
