Vortech maxflow blow off valve question
how do I make this thing as loud as possible? Do I put the adjustment **** all the way in our all the way out? I was told that with it all the way it, it unloads quicker and makes a louder sound and when it's all the way out it makes a more gradual, not as loud, whhhooosshhhing sound.
I want this thing to be as loud as possible, so what should I do?

You want to set the setting as "soft" as possible as in it will close as soon as possible to give you boost faster. The screw is all the way out on mine which I beleive is the softest setting.
I'm running a MAF so I cannot vent to the atmosphere as it effects the A/F mixture.
I'm thinking you are venting it to the atmosphere? you probably are not going to get it to "pop" like a turbo because the superchargers develop boost a little differently the valve is not nessesarily going to "slap closed that fast as a turbo spools up a lot faster. I'm sre some turbo guys my chime in but that is my read on it...
