Recommended Fuel Pressure
Just put in new Ford 24# injectors and AFPR. I thought I remember someone suggesting 42psi when running the 24# injectors, mine is set around 43.
For anyone out there running these injectors, what is your pressure set at, or what is recommended?

Each engine is different.
The F*** injectors are rated a litlle differently than the GM parts. The ECM takes care of the fuel mixture while you are not at WOT. I found my 90 ran better, with those same injectors, at around 43 psi. It shortened the pulse width under normal throttle and gave me better WOT performance and still had quick throttle response. The way I set the pressure was without a gauge. I installed the injectors. Reset the ECM and drove for a day. Then I made several WOT passes with my Gtech type dyno. Raised and lowered the pressure until it ran the hardest. I couldn't feel much difference but it was repeatable with different pressures. I then hooked the gauge back up to make sure I was in acceptable limits. the 43 number seemed to work best for me. I checked the plugs a week later and they were nice and light grey on the center insulator.

Best if you also look at a scan and your BLM's and see if you are forcing the computer to do a large correction. If you do your own chip tuning you can reset the value for the injector size and make the pulse durations where they need to be. If you have a wide band O2 you can check WOT too.
