MPG display
Hows is the MPG calculated on the dash? The only thing I can think of is that it is tied to injector pulse width from the ECM??
Has anybody maintained this gauge with an aftermarket ECM such as megasquirt??

The MPG readout is calculated with a firmware algorithm in the CCM using the pulse width of the injectors vs. distance traveled or vehicle speed respectively for the "Average MPG" or "Instant MPG".
