Default Long tube headers TPIS
I will be adding a set of long tudes to my 89 and was wondering if this will effect my cats. if so what do I need to do? I have to pass emisions in NJ

They eliminate the precats but the main cat can stay. You should be able to pass emissions though. Are you doing the install yourself ?

You should pass emissions, just be sure the engine is warmed up properly when you take the sniffer.

The TPIS LT's y-pipe is a direct bolt on to the cat in it's stock location. If you didn't buy that as well, you may want to think about it. It's a nice fit
