LTx head question
HI, on GM lt4 heads there are two holes for coolant lines. one hole in the rear that is used and another in the front that is NOT used. The one in the front has a plug. My CNC heads didn't come with plugs for the front two holes (one on each head). I was able to find steel plugs that fit. Can I use a steel plug?? Want to make sure there aren't any expansion issues by using a steel plug in an aluminum head.

Sure. If you're worried about being to get it out at a later date, put a little anti-sieze on it. It'll also act as a sealer. Nice and snug, don't overdo.
