Dash Disassembly
Got a 95 coupe. Shifter plate & shift boot is loose & hanging. Need to tear into it to try & fix it.
Anybody have any helpful tips to disassemble this par of the dash with out breaking anything?

start from the console compartment door and work forward removing any bolt you can find. there are 4 under the felt in the console. it'll just start coming off untill you get to the shifter

It may seem like a no-brainer, but make sure you take the shiftknob off first... All of the panels previously mentioned should come off with no resistance, so if you start tugging and it's not coming off, you've missed a bolt somewhere.
