Default rear camber adjustment

Two questions:

Question one: On my 87 which way CW or CCW should the adjustment cam be rotated to add rear camber? I have about -4 now but want to straighten it up to save tires.

Question two: What is the concenses on good camber setting? I have seen vettes around town with a huge negative camber to very square 0 degrees and even a few positive.

Good even tire wear or tight turns???

Yike's -4*! I haven't even seen guys at AutoX running that much! I am currently at -2.75 and its too much, killing my straight line traction with 315 Hoosiers in back. Can't remember if its CW or CCW but with that much you will see when your getting more positive.

I was running about 1* - 1.5* negitive on my 85 street/autocross and it didn't seem to hurt my tire life. VB&P has good baseline settings, check those out. Remember when you switch your camber your toe-in is going to be all screwed up and needing adjusting (both front and rear).

Default I know its way to much

I found the lock bolt loose on the passenger side and it has apparently been moving slowly. I should have noted that the driver side is maybe
-1, I had it up in the air last weekend to do some brake work and when it came time to straighten the wheel I coudnt remember which way to turn it and didnt want to make it worse.

I just only want to do it once to get it tracking again. When I have the time I take it to my local goodyear and get four wheel alinged.

Thanks for the info.
