ughh just talked to them....
they wont take it apart.. the whole dana 36 is $450
and they have 150 of them instock and they wont break it up
also the 3.07s are like $650


so that link you posted is looking pretty good..
I think Im gonna do it.
Ill call and see if i can get a better deal.
I wont need ne thing else will I?

by the way I am also going to cryo the gears.. Since i can cryo the gears myself itll save me some $ and make them alot stronger!

just called Drivetrain specialist its $172 to buy the gears not $152
I am gonna call round tomm see if I cant find a place to set up the gears and for how much.

since I am switching carriers will i need a rebuild kit? ne thing else?
just to make sure..

Yep, you’ll need the rebuild kit. It consists of new bearings, races, and seals.
Not sure of exactly when im going to do mine, but it has to be soon because these 2.59’s and my Richmond 6-speed are killing my clutch. Luckily it’s flat here in Florida.

I would call the peeps about that 3 series carrier too, for some reason it just sounds too good to be true for the price
