Default Vibration Question!

Hi,
I have a '92 (LT1) convertible, with an auto trans, and a Dana 36 (2.59 gears ) from factory , all 100% stock. When I'm cruising at about 70 mph, the engine is revving about 2 grand, no more than that. Well, when I give the car more gas, when the car starts to accelerate, I hear (and feel) a strange noise/vibration coming from the car, and it kind of feels like its coming from the rear of the car. It almost feels like the grooves in the side of the highway that are designed to wake you up if you're swerving off the road, however not quite as strong as that, but the same effect. Any ideas? Thanks for any replies!

Make sure your bolts from the flywheel to the torque converter are tight, my 93 had loosened up causing a vibration. It's worth checking..
