odd problem please help

My cay feels like it isnt getting fuel effieciently. i replaced the fuel filter today and samething. What its doing is when i open her up it bogs down ( like its not getting gas) - it also is very unresponive. I dont know whats wrong.

There's a schrader valve (looks like a valve stem tip on a tire)on the fuel rail that your gauge screws into(area by the intake runners). May want to wrap a rag around it as its probably (hopefully) pressurized with fuel. Screw it on with the motor off.

Get a fp gauge with a hose long enough that you can lay the face under a wiper onto the windshield.
Then go for a WOT run on the expressway and note if fuel pressure jumps to the no vacuum setpoint and holds.
If pressure falls back suspect the fuel pump.
