Default exterior temp sensor location???

i did a tune up on our 88 last week and must have moved the exterior temp sensor or whatever. now the exterior temp gauge(?) goes anywhere from 60 or so, to 115 or more, depending on whether im idling or cruizing on the freeway or whatever. i dont know what it looks like or where its at. (i assume its somewhere near the firewall and distributor.) any help would be appreciated, as i would like to keep track of the brisk 60ish weather outside!!! :o otherwise, how will i know if its warm enough to put the top down???

The external temp sensor is located in the RH front of the engine compartment on top right corner of the radiator.

Look up through the opening for the radiator underneat the front bumper. When looking at the condenser for the A/C, it should be infront of the condenser on the passenger side of the car.
