Default Injectors

I am going with either the gm847 cam or the cc306 cam. I am going to change out injectors, and need advice on this. I have NEVER messed with injectors before. My car is a 92 six speed. What injectors should I go with, where do I get em, and are they are to install?

Check summit. You will want to check into the options from Ford Motorsports. They are a plug and play unit for these cars.

I would suggest their 24lb injectors. The reason? FMS rates their injectors at 38 PSI, we run at 43 PSI, so, if you raise the pressure, you raise the flow! The injectors then effectively become 26lb. Unless you are supercharging, thats more then enough injector.

Kara, are your injectors in good shape?
If they are flowing good they are already 24 lb injectors.
If they are not, I have a set off a LT1. Let me know.
You'll have to remove the top part of the intake to install
them. A set of o-rings is also essential.

Bump. Also need to know what size stock L98 injectors are. What's stock injectors good up to in terms of hp and tq? I might also wanna upgrade because of my severe addiction to nitrous usage.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread :x

What else are you doing to the car? are you just going to add a cam or are you doing the heads too?

Seriously, if you have more than 90k miles i would spend the money and get new injectors. you can find new FMS injectors on ebay for cheap.
