Default IAC & TPS adjustment

First off, a quick thanks to 65Z01 for the tech tips on his web site and others for posting "how to"s.
Long story short, my '91 would not stay running this Fri am after doing some diagnotics Thurs night (most likely the operator).
Cleaned and reset the IAC, used the ALDL to seat the IAC, set idle to 400-415 in drive w/IAC disconnected, set TPS to .625vdc (91's don't have slots for adjustment but there is some movement available), WOT is 4.15vdc checked by manually opening TB.
Reassembled and it would not stay running until it warmed up for about 1 1/2 minutes. Idle was at 450 in neutral, but it sure seems low and the motor kinda loped.
I have to go for a CA smog cert. tomorrow, so plugs, cap, rotor are in order (though they are only 3 months old), but I am concerned that the mixture is out of whack and it won't pass.
The question is, should I start the process all over making sure engine is at op. temp? Drive for a while to let everything settle in again? Or just go for broke and figure it's gonna pass like it has every year?
Options, opinions, WWCF do?
Thanks

Ive always heard you should get the car running nice and hot before getting it inspected but again, here in TX, it's almost nice and hot year round.

BTW, I'll try to get the ABS manual out to you tomorrow. Hope it helps.

Change hats - VetteNoob - hit the brakes HARD on the way home tonite-left front locks up as ABS kicks in. ABS active light comes on. Could not make it duplicate the "no brakes" that I had last time. Could it be the rain water causing the challenge? Don't seem right, but what the hey.
Thanks again
