Default Not a vette but...

My mom (whom by the way is totally cool and digs HP) is gonna let me use her trailblazer to build a turbo kit off of. Ive been dying to play with the I-6 and I asked her the other day if it would be cool if I used her truck as a guinie pig and her response was "Only if you put a posi carrier in it too"
It's speed density with a true return (unlike the c5 stuff) so I could probably use a risingrate FMU on it.(even though I don't really like em)
here's the partslist-
Ball bearing T-70
321 stainless log header (coated as well)
Tial BOV
water/air IC
38mm Tial wategate
hooks up to stock exhaust/cat
Could possibly become emissions legal.

So what engine is this? What year TB? There's usually alot of room around those inline 6's with them being so skinny and all. But making a 6 into 1 collector doesn't sound like any fun. Maybe a log style would work better with those. What have you got in mind? And what are you going to tell your mom when you blow her engine up???


I've got an extra, vortech FMU that I can let go for half of what I paid for it. I was going to use it on my vette until I got the Accel DFI.

is it a 10-1fmu? Yea I hope nothin bad happens to the tune. I'll start really rich with a tank full o 100 octane.

I'm not sure, it's the same one that comes with vortech supercharger kit. I think it's got a diaphram based on injector size
