running rich?
my exhaust smells of heavy gas odor, the stereo shop tech said as i was pullin out the bay....wow your car is running rich......what is the correction to this? is this a reason for bad gas mileage? easy fix????? my vette is a stock 91 conv.

go to Autozone or Poop Boys and have them dump your error codes. They should do it for free....don't buy any recommended parts from them...just report codes back here and let the experts analyize the data....

Codes are a good thing to understand before you spend any real money. A code 45 is a rich condition being indicated by the O2 sensor but does not necessarily mean the O2 sensor is bad. MikeC4 is right. Get the codes first.
