Default Hooker 2061HKR ?

I am thinking of getting headers for my 93, do I have to modify or replace my stock pipes and can I use my EGR with these?

I am on a limited budget and can only do 1 piece at a time.

Thanks!!

Check the footnotes in the Hooker listings. Shorties = A lot of bucks for the bang.

RACE ON!!!

You don't have to modify your stock pipes or cats for 2061's.

If you use the "search" function, and look for "shorties", you should find some input on the HP issue. Seems like 3-5hp is the norm.

Long-tubes give 15-20 HP, but the stock cats can't be used with them. You either have to pick up a set of bullet cats or do away with cats entirely.

Hooker makes a 2149 which fits LT1's (in spite of the fact they are listed for L98's) & has the EGR fittings.

Very clever, I like that. I was reading it, and of course my brain wanted to finish what it was SUPPOSED to say. I was like "he knows better than tha.... AH, very funny."
