Default AC Delco Front Wheel hub - Question

Hello,

I was replacing the front bearing/hub assembly on my 91 ZR1. I purchased an AC Delco hub assembly from a discount place and noticed that is was a little different from the original.

The biggest difference is the back portion of the bearing where the ABS sensor plugs in. The old one had a metal cover on it and the new one has a plastic cover on it.

The lug nuts on the newer one are a tad longer than the old ones also.

The new one had NDH stamps on the seals and aside from the rear cover looked exactly like the original.

Did AC Delco change the design of the bearing's rear cover? I want to make sure I do not have a cheap knock-off bearing that is made to look like a more expesive one.

Thanks,
Dan

Do a search. I've read GM reboxes someone elses bearing.
