LACR-Progress! pics

Seems the exhaust and frisbee removal helped move a little more air through the intake (intake porting was worth a 1 mph, poss.1.5mph)
R/T-.170
60' dropped 2/10ths to 2.068
1/8 mile dropped the same
E.T. 14.807 @ 92.438 mph, incorrected. 2700 elevation, 4800 DA
Previously I could not surpass 15.0@91-other 3 runs averaged 89.9 mph
I might add that Shinobi-X has a strong running Crossfire! Upon averaging R/T's the cars ran within 1/10 of eachother!
Unfortunately we got no vids. Lines were too long to jump out and shoot...
Shinbi's Crossfire and the Cuismobile

New Exhaust

Say cheese, Shinobi!

How the heck to you figure DA? I figured a corrected time to be [14.33@95.55mph..Thanks for coming, guys

Wanted to add-Shortly after I left, Brian informed me that a '05 Mustang GT only mustered a 14.9 if this settles any GT vs. threads

Edit-wrong slip-correct info here with the better of the two

I thought it was just a daily driver. Tighten up your reaction times and line up against the other cross-fire. The blue one. I want to see you two go head to head. I must warn you: he is deadly on the tree and dial!
You could be a well paid assassin if you take him out at the WCCC events.
Sorry Dave
I was at Famoso all day at March meet. Was hot there also. Good time.

That gives me 1184 feet. Doesn't sound right for palmdale air.
29.98 isn't exactly typical palmdale air though.
These are using my calculations though, so take em for what they're worth. I need to double check em.

LACR is 2,710 ft. above sea level.
To figure the altitude factor the formula is as follows:
ET: multiply your et (at LACR) by .97
MPH: multiply your mph (at LACR) by 1.03
This will give you the ET & MPH at sea level
1/2 second difference!

RACE ON!!!

It sounds like you guys have cars that *I* could race with. The whole thing sounds like you guys had a blast. Keep it up.
RACE ON!!!

Bet that 406 would shave a few seconds off.....I need an intervention
It doesn't help to see your machinist running 8's at the track, either.
CFI-EFI, i really dont' like correction of times but sometimes its nice to know what you would run at ideal elevation. using the DA for the track day is a bit much for correction because if we all did that our cars times would be insane!
if they re-built the track that was by our airport here in Santa Maria,CA im almost positive you'd come travel out here to run it! our city is only at 210ft above sealevel and the DA is most likely below sealeval all the time during fall and winter months.its never hummid here and the weather is never bad for racing all year around.the air is almost perfect. alot of local drag racers have gathered around to try and get it built again since street racing is soooo bad here(mainly due to imports).the city just won't do it. we need someone rich to just do it. anyone wanna build a track where i live and have great timeslips everytime out?
