It's rotor and pad replacement time. I also want to replace the brake hoses/lines (to each wheel).
What brand are you using and/or what is a good brand to use. Mostly street use but an few autocross and Portland International Raceway road course days during the summer.
Russel comes to mind, I have Russel speed bleeders. I see Goodridge G-Stop in tirerack's "Inside Track" magazine.
I'd like to hear from all you heavy right footers as to your choice.
Some people say putting braided brake lines is a saftey issue for street driven cars. If they are getting worn out you can't see it because of the braid.
I have a set of Russell lines on my 92 vert and Earl's on my 87 autocross car. The Earl's appear to be slightly longer for the application. The Russell lines for the rear brakes on the 92 seem to be pretty short; they install fine but I would have liked to see another 1/2" or so of length on those.
I have the original "Speed Bleeders" on the 87. I tried the Russell bleeders and they leaked. Dumped them and went to the Speed Bleeder brand https://www.speedbleeder.com/
Neither sets of my lines show any indication of problems. They work fine for the street and do seem to provide a slightly hard pedal under hard braking. The stainless lines are cheaper than a set of GM rubberl lines.
just put on a set of earl's .. very nicely made and installed like a glove.. they were about the same length as the stock lines and look to be built very good!! they were a franklin through summit

Thanks for the info and also for the link to speed bleeders. I just ran into the same problem with the Russell brand that you ran into. I can't get the bleeder to seat.
I'll order a set of the Orig. speed bleeders.
Thanks and thank you to all that replyed to my question.
