H.P. Increase With These Mods
Realistically, how much Horsepower increase would be realized with an upgrade to a K&N air filter and Flowmaster exhaust on an L-98 with an automatic transmission?

I tend to agree that gains will be somewhat minimal but it's a good start to future mods and sounds good.
Do the cut lid with K&N to get about 10chp.
For exhaust the front Y and stock are holding back gains. Do 2 1/2" SS front Y along with a hi-flow cat to see around 15-20chp gain, including your cat-back. Doing FL headers instead of the front Y will bring another 15chp or more gain.
