17" 18" wheel split
Why do C5's run a different size rim on the front (17") and the rear (18"). What is the advantage.
What size tires can you fit on an 18" 9.5" wide rim.
I was considering buying a set of Zr1 rims but with the availability of c5 rims becoming pretty cheap I have started to consider that option.

Not sure what the exact reason for the different sizes on the C5, but it does give the illusion that the car is lower in the front.
On an 18x9.5 rim you can use 275/35 or 285/35. Personally I would go with the 285/35. Another option is to use Z06 wheels, then you can use 295/35 out back like I did.
