I used a MrGoodPump, it is orange and has two approx 48" 3/8" i.s. bore inlet/out let hoses and a pump that allows you to pull thick fluids out quickly. For the refill I used a pump that is designed to screw on the lower unit lube of an outboard and it was the correct thread for the diff lube. I put my GM additive in with the new diff lube and it was easy to transfer it into the diff. Regards

Not trying to hijack the thread... KAZ2- where did you get the MrGoodPump at? My suction gun is very hard to use on thick fluids. Thanks! Sorry to interrupt.

ideally wait until the temperature is at least 60 degrees with 80w90 gear oil.. drive the car for 20 minutes to let some of the mechanical energy increase the temperature of the gear oil. it will decrease the viscosity and make removal a lot easier
