I am finishing up replacing my TPI setup on an 88 L98 with a MR. I have replaced some of my fuel lines and added a new fuel filter during the project. I have all of my fuel lines, fuel filter and fuel rails to fill and check for leaks.
I am running into the 2 second cut out on the computer and it seems to be taking forever to get the system charged and up to preassure.
Is there any way to jump around the computer and run the fuel pump until the system is charged?
Thanks guys. This forum is so cool. Put the fuel pump into constant run and that allowed me to figure out that I had the lines reversed. Seemed logical to me that preasure should go to the regulator, but so much for logic. Reversed the lines and everything seems to be working fine. Thanks again for the help.

Yeah, the regulator comes after the rail. It basically acts as a restriction to hold pressure in the rail, and 'regulate' how much returns to the tank.
