about a month ago i changed my o2 sensor because i was getting
black carbon out of the tailpipes so i replaced the sensor and ran
seafoam threw it for about a 100 miles, i'm still getting black stuff
out of the tailpipes, how long does it take to blow that stuff out
or is thier something else i can do?
If you followed the Seafoam directions-1/3 of can thru vac line and kept the RPMs up around 1500-2000 it should have removed the carbon deposits almost immediately (been using it for years). You might want to check your EGR to make sure it's operating properly, a stuck EGR valve or bad EGR switch can make it run rich-and your mileage would be poor.

Is this because it makes it like a vacuum leak, sort of?
