So, ran the car for a while today and this is what was coming out of the tailpipes on the drivers side. Nothing at all from the passanger side. There is no odor, and the fluid is like water...not thick like oil.
Also, this occured after the car was fully warmed up (had been running for 30-45 minutes) and I ran the rpm's up to 3500-4000 a few times. The car has been out only twice in the past 3 months due to winter.
Uggghh, what the ????
I have Flowmaster mufflers, but I believe the rest of the system is factory exhaust.
Also, when the catalytic converter starts to fail, will it make a clicking or ticking sound....? I'm pretty sure that sound was coming from the cat, but can't be sure, and was wondering if these two issues are related.
Thanks in advance

For the sake of your wallet, I hope its water and soot. Did it feel oily?
As for the ticking noise, get a long screwdriver or lenth of hose and put one end against the part you think is ticking and the other end to your ear, it will pinpoint the noise for you.
If it feels like water, it probably is just condensation. Run it for several miles to heat up everything, and it will probably be all boiled out and ready for the nice months!
It definitely felt like water, no doubt about that - that was the only thing providing me with some comfort... I knew I was in trouble if it was oil.
I should clarify my comment about the passenger side, there WAS fluid from that side as well, about the same amount however it was totally clear and definitely water... Just weird that the one side was so black / dark..???
There are two possibilities:
1. Condensation from the engine and exhaust - warmup and drive for a while and it should go away
2. Leaking head gasket that ends up in exhaust and blows out exhaust.
Hydrocarbon, an organic compound of hydrogen and carbon. Hydrogen forms water when oxidized. Carbon is the black stuff on yer fingers and on the ground. Take it for a ride. When she's warmed up blow that stuff out of there.
Do Flowmasters have a weep hole to let out condensation. I think I read here on the forum that Corsa's have a weep hole on the bottom to let out accumulated water in the muffler. I don't know about Flowmasters tho. Hopefully it's its water and soot. Good Luck.

Had my Flows on for three years and never noticed a weep hole.
As for the converter, my DS pre-cat self destructed a while ago. The pieces ended up in the main cat. It rattled in the main up to about 1500 RPM then the exhaust pushed the pieces back and it was quiet. Had the exhaust guy remove the pre cats (don't have visual inspection) and install a high flow, three stage main.
