I have a 85 i think it runs very well , but if i get on it hard around a corner or doing donuts it will stall and ill have to cut it off and restart it and it will be fine again i usually have about 1/4 tank gas im thinking the factory fuel pump sucks from the bottom of the tank and the gas is moveing to the side couseing this problem.
Exactly!........Autoxers have known this for years, and never run without a full tank. Also, in a car that old, you may have a buncha sediment in the tank.
Thanks for asking that question - I have had that happen twice to me while pulling a U-turn or somewthing and wondered what the deal was... usually low on gas a the time.
Realise a C4 has almost NO weight on the *** end (that's why they're so easy to turn around), so a full tank o' gas will help you in every way. More traction, less wheel spin, better cornering, and no fuel starvation!
You young guys, I realise gas is expensive, just fill up once, set the trip odom, and fill up every time it says 100 or 150, that way you only buy half a tank at a time. I have to do this.......my fuel gage is broke, hehe!

When I first got my car, I drove it home from Arkansas (I live in St. Louis). When I got home I took my wife and friend for a ride and when I stomped the pedal to the floor it stalled bad. I thought I had just bought a lemon, but it was just low in gas.
