Hi all I'm brand new to Corvette Forum. My Buddy put me on to it and already the hour meter has run it's course! I have a question for all...
I have a 95 c4 that has been stroked to a 396 traction has been the issue for the car. I am now buying four tires and I am struggling with my choice of type. The car is a everyday driver in spring and summer..Any feed back is welcome.

First of all, welcome to the forum.
Regarding tires, I recommend you do a search. This topic has been absolutely beaten to death over the last month or so.
I have BFG G-Force KDs. They're excellent dry tires, but they're like ice skates when it's wet out. If you get a lot of rain, I'd stay away from them.
Best bet is to look on the TireRack website, search by size, and compare the results.

BFG's are great tires. It depends on the size you need, the KDWS are some of the best all weather tires on the market. The KD is more of a super high performance tire, but BFG's only option for 315's. Just do you research and don't be afraid to ask these questions... but as said, this issue has been addressed alot lately so many of your questions can be found thru the search. Good luck and welcome to our

Just put on a set of Kumho ECSTA ASX. Seem to be great. Less road noise and the all season tread works great for me. Price is right and the come with a 30k warranty.
Pilot sports are the best tires made in my opinion. If price is not an issue then I would highly recommend them. If treadwear isn't a big deal either the standard pilots sports are great. Very sticks and very good in the dry. If you are looking for an all weather, the pilot sport AS's are the way to go. They have a great tread wear and drive wonderful in the wet and dry. A set with install and balance will cost you around 1350.

I have the same setup, rims and all (except they're polished aluminum) I noticed a difference, just by swapping the tires, and going to the 17x11 wheels in rear w/315's I love the Goodyears,,, switched from BFG gForce's I highly recommend the Goodyear F1 GS-D3's

With a 396, I'll assume your traction issue is at least as bad as mine and probably worse. If so, I don't think you'll find any street tire that is as good as you'll need straight ahead. I'd recommended a good ultra-performance tire for the front but Nitto drag radials for the rear. They are the only DRs I know of that retain a speed rating and also have excellent all-around handling. My Kumho MXs were an excellent tire but when my HP got up to where it is now, they became a joke for forward traction as are any street tires when you get up near or exceed 400 CHP.
