Default New DA2 definition file changes. What are these fields?

I'll soon be getting my new DA2 definition file from TunerCAT. My old file was from 2002 so there have been a few changes since then. In looking at the PDF file here are the changes that jump out at me.

Left/Right O2 Sensor Diagnostic
Left/Right O2 Sensor Lean Diag
Left/Right O2 Sensor Rich Diag

These are pretty self explanatory as they are just switch parameters, fair enough. For the most part it's pretty self explanatory, there are just a few fields that I find particularly interesting that were never in the old definition. I was hoping some of the more knowledgable people could shed some light on the following

Throttle Follow Extend Decay Timer (Drive)
Throttle Follow Extend Decay Timer (P/N)
Throttle Follow Extend Deay Timer Adder
Fast O2 Rich/Lean Thershold Hysteresis
IAC Defaualt Keep Alive Min Position
IAC Minimum Keep Alive Min Position
IAC Maximum Keep Alive Min Position
DFCO Enable/Disable RPM Threshold
DFCO Enable/Disable MAP Threshold
DFCO Disable RPM Decrease Threshold
DFCO Enable COolant Temp Threshold
DFCO Enable TPS Threshold Hysteresis
Instrument Panel VSS Pulse Divisor

I guess my biggest question is what the crap is a DFCO!?

DFCO = DECEL FUEL CUT OFF Now I bet that makes more sense to you Nathan by the way I use to live in Owensboro I put in a paper machine in the Willamette Paper mill in Hawesville several years ago. Its not Willamette any more cuz they got bought out by Weyerhauser.

If you do a datalog on the highway.. get off the gas (let it engine brake) and watch the pulse width go to 000 than thats DFCO.

You shouldn't have to play with those settings on most cars. Some of them are bad though.. I had to take it off a friends stock car because he said in the snow it would cause the back to loose traction a bit.

Hmm, I've had a slight issue for a while with mine. If I downshift and let the engine do the braking for me and let it drag down pretty good sometimes it'll act like the revs want to drop just a hair too much when I finally do get on the clutch. To date it has never stalled but you can see it happen. Maybe a little tweaking here could help that.

What about the throttle follow stuff?

usually the biggest complaint about dfco that i've heard is sometimes *sometimes* it feels too much like a jake brake

Throttle follower is what keeps the r's up between shifts.. Also keeps them up a bit as you come to a stop.

That could explain why it never falls back to idle until I come to a complete stop maybe? I always wondered what that was about.

Nathan-

How do you get the updated file from TC? I bought a def file at about the same time (2002 or so). Do I just email them to get an updated file?

Well I got my definitions yesterday. I didn't have much time to look but I did open it up for a quick glance. I notice there are a few tables dealing with O2 sensors that reference MAF values. The 92 is speed density, are these tables just ignored or what?
