here in PA for all obdII cars it id=s strictly a vissual inspection along with a gas cap test.As long as your car has the emission parts on that came on the car (air pump, cat, egr sensor and so forth)it will pass .As far as the long tubes you will be fine as long as you have some form of cat on the car.
P.S any ?'s let me know I have many friends who have inspection stations if i cant answer them they can.
Yup. More expensive in AA. Look in the Sunday paper where they list the most expensive home sales for the week - Anne Arundel usually has 6 of the top 10. And they're not all on the water.

Ok--I wouldn't generalize about entire counties from the Sun paper listing though. Severna Park and areas around Anapolis have got to be sky high.
Hi, I live just across the line in PA, York county, Stewartstown, and commute to work in MD, much like everyone else. OBD1 cars they just do the visual at the local garage. OBDII they hook up to the computer and do the visual. Must have cat and things that look like mufflers. As for housing, I looked in MD, used to live there 5 years ago in Harford Co. Prices have gone way up. I just bought a home last summer in Stewartstown 3 bedroom, two bath with basement and an acre of land for 135,000. Not too bad.
