No diagram here but it is really easy to troubleshoot.
Disconnect the TPS and put an analog ohmmeter across pins a&b of the sensor. In one slow, fluid movement open and close the throttle while watching the meter's needle for any jerking. If there is any, replace the sensor. If that checks good, check the wiring between the sensor and ECM. If the wiring is good that leaves the ECM.
