Its almost time to bring the car back out from its garage hiding place here in the Northeast. Today we got our first good rain storm, getting some of that nasty salt off the road.
On my check list is looking at my brakes. As of last year, they felt slightly hard, with not as much stopping power as i'd like.
I have a 1995, with the 13inch J55 package. I also have PFC Carbon Metallic pads with slotted/drilled rotors.
My main concern is the pedal feels good and hard, but the stopping power just isn't there. Almost like the pads are wet, but they are not.
What are some good fixes? New pads? Bleed the system? I need to put new front rotors on it anyways due to a cracked rotor, but wasn't planning on touching the rears.
