High Pitch Sound??
Hello -
I bought my 1994 Corvette last fall, stored it over the winter, had a starting problem (which you guys helped me fix - thanks), I put a new battery in it just now, started right up but now...
...I get this high pitch sound coming from (I think) the engine area? I have never heard this before. It was intermittent. Being that it is 12:30am and I was just happy it started for me again I decided to call it a night and post about this.
Hoping some can shed some light on the subject.

check the belt drive. I would be willing to bet either the idler or tenstioners is bad, or, the alternator has a bad bearing.
Remove the serp belt and start it up. If it stops, then you know it's one of the drive accessories.
