Took the car to a shop in Beckley WV. The guys cut out the resonator and staggered the converters in that location. To my suprise it seems a little quieter without the resonator but with the cats as compared to no cats but with the resonator. Now, to get it inspected.

Good luck on passing. It should read as clean as a new car right now.
Two years from now who knows? You should do better than me because you don't go out on two lane roads and get air like I do. More than once I've whacked my exhaust on the road. I hate it when that happens!
i may have to put a cat back also here in ny.. they are not doing the sniffer test, yet. but they do require that you have to have cats on now just to look at it.. if they ever do the sniffer im screwed..
