Default C5 rims

OK looking at getting a new set of rubber to go on some rims

Rims are
18x9.5 rear with +65 offset
and
17x8.5 front with +58 offset.

I think these are off of a newer C5

Currently i have 255/17 on the front and
285 on the rear
(factory stock)

Any recommendation on what would be a good size that would look and perform well without adding to problems with ABS or traction control?

If you have an 88-96, yes they'll fit just fine.

The 8.5" C5 and 8.5" lateC4 wheels have the same dimensions.

The rear C5s will stick in 1/4" over your stock 9.5" rears.

Any pics of your vette with the rims on? Curious to see what it would look like! Thanks for your reply! Ken

You can reuse your 255/45/17 tires up front and go with 285/35/18 out back. It will be a perfect fit. Your speedometer wont even be off and the ABS will be happy.
