Default EM headers

Anyone out there going to be working on their cars this weekend that has a set of EM LTx heades installed? Or someone has some close up pictures of their installations? I need a close up shot of the passenger side header, mainly where the tubes come down to the collector where they are at the closest point to the frame and also at the front side of the tubes where they pass by the K member. In my car I have no problems and have lots of clearence. I want to see others so I can gauge if I have a problem in fellow members car or if its something else. In his car number 8 tube is actually hitting the frame, the number 4 tube is also hitting the K member, this spot is easily recitfied. The number 8 tube is not going to be easy.

Tom, I didn't have any clearance problems with my EM headers. But, I do remember reading a thread where someone had to notch their frame on the passenger side, to get the headers to fit.

Good Luck.

Ouch! I got some pictures that I am sending to Merle. Hopefully we won't have to do that.

Mine were close on #6 and #8, maybe 1/8". After talking to the EM guys, I ended up dinging #6 and flattening #8. Here are some pics:

Honestly, I actually feel a little better now. I'd never heard of anyone having this problem before, so I was suspecting some undisclosed frame damage to my car (from the previous owner), but now it just sounds like that's just the way it is with some cars...

Whew...
