Default Combustion Chamber size

Does anyone know the size of the LT-1 and LT-4 combustion chamber size of the head?

I think the L98 is 58cc.

Mostly. The iron headed 1985 and 1986, L98s had 76 cc chambers.

how about the 84 crossfire heads? What chamber volume and port volume did these have?

Are they worth porting for a performance application? Or just go with a newer style head?

They are the same heads as the iron headed L98s. Improvements CAN be made, but unless you can do it yourself and are on a very limited budget, there are better ways to spend your time and money.

For what it's worth, The only difference between the 1984 L83 and the 1985 L98 long block, is the camshaft. Two peas in a pod.
