Default Clutch Replacement

I'm in the process of replacing a stock Clutch on my 96 Grand Sport with a Centerforce Dual Friction. Everything is going great, But how do you tell if your Flywheel need to be replaced. I have about 50k on the original now, and From the looks of the Flywheel, there appears to be some Slight Bluish Coloring to it. But it seems to be smooth to the touch.
If I need to replace it, what should I replace it with? I've Heard more opinions about this, then just about any other discussion. I'm aware that the Stock Flywheel is a dual Mass. I've also been told that the flywheel is used to balance the engine externally. I'm planning on refreshing the engine in the fall, and I'm look to put about 500 Hp to the driveline. I Also have a Centerforce on my 1996 Collector's Edition, so I'm well aware of the Clutch Chatter that the centerforce's make.

How much Noiser will a Single Mass Flywheel Be? Should I stick with a Dual Mass? Are The Aluminum Flywheels To Light For this Kind Of Planned Horsepower?

Thanks In Advanced for your Help!
