Got the 383 back from being rebuilt last night after I destroyed it a few months ago.
I only did a few different things as I didn't want to spend too much $$.
Stage 2 heads (stage 1 before)
had to get new pistons, Speed Pro changed their design from the last time I did them
heads had to be decked .030
block "zero decked" (.020 off of it I think)
Cloyes double roller
I think final compression is 11.8:1 or something in there. I don't have all the fine details as I don't really care about them. It ran great before and I think it will run great again!
Looks like my compression ratio is a tad bit higher than what my builder guessed it was, more like almost 12.3:1 :shock; I think that's a little high for pump gas...if this is correct anyway:
