Got my 383 back last night!
Got the 383 back from being rebuilt last night after I destroyed it a few months ago.I only did a few different things as I didn't want to spend too much $$.
- Stage 2 heads (stage 1 before)
- had to get new pistons, Speed Pro changed their design from the last time I did them
- heads had to be decked .030
- block "zero decked" (.020 off of it I think)
- Cloyes double roller

Looks like my compression ratio is a tad bit higher than what my builder guessed it was, more like almost 12.3:1 :shock; I think that's a little high for pump gas...if this is correct anyway:
