Engine hesitation on 84 C4
Ive got a hesitation coming off idle on my 1984 Corvette. I've been checking for vacuum leaks and other causes. Any suggestions on where to start?

I'd start by looking for vacuum leaks and other causes. A prime source of a vacuum leak is between the intake manifold lid and the base. Is the TPS properly set and operating smoothly? Does the MAP check out? How about the timing? There's a start.

Here's the things I've done so far:
New Plugs
changed most vacuum hoses (getting about 20 in vacuum now)
set timing (but maybe not correctly) which wire do I pull before setting the timing to 6 degreees BTC? how do I identify it?
Fresh oil, oil filter, air filter.
throttle plates eem to open at the same time.
The hesitation is just off idle, almost kills the motor.

The wire is near the power brake booster and the connector is black and the wire is brown with a black stripe. Also check your fuel filter and pressure.
