Does anyone have trailer hitch for 84' coupe. I need to tow a small trailer for a spare set of wheels/tires and tools for auto-cross. It would solve the problem of taking 2 vehicles. Thanks, Jim R
You are likely to get better resposne if this was posted in the C4 parts for sale/wanted section.
There are a number of people that have been looking for hitches. They are scarcer than hen's teeth

Ecklers use to see a Reese hitch, I have it on my 94, it worked for any C4. Very nice fit, pretty easy to install. But you do have to drill into the frame, and in the later models you have to drill access holes to gain access inside the frame to place backing plates and bolts.
I got the Harbor freight trailer and made my AutoX trailer last year.
do a yahoo search for Reese - I think it was a "shadow" hitch. Class I or II.
I got my class II new for $110 or so from some online website. just poke around and find the best deal you can (maybe even Reese direct). They still make them/sell them, you just have to keep looking.
also, I did the install myself and it was straightforward. definitely a nice addition for utility. I even tow my damn motorcycle with the vette (the only casualty being my transmission), so put a cooler on there too.
