Default [Custom Cam] Finally picked her back up--#'s

Well after over a month at the shop and much , I got my baby back last night. I had the TPIS longtubes, dynatech hi flow cats, the heads stage 3 ported, and a full tune.

She runs great!!!

The last dyno pull she did:
387.4 rwhp, and 354 rwft/lb

Still a tad sluggish right out of the gate, but once she hits about 3K, it is on. I can't wait to go to the track now!

So good to have the car back, but well worth the wait. What to do next?

Is this a 350 or 383? I am guessing a 350 based on the torque figures. If so, very nice indeed!

Nice numbers......nice flat torque curve....hp looks to be still climbing....maybe you can rev higher???

can't be too sluggish out of the gate...310 ft-lb of torque at 2200rpm AIN'T shabby!!!!

Enjoy!!!!!

I shouldn't use sluggish, just not a rocket out of the hole!

It is a 350.

Do you have 4.10 gears? If not, do those next. That'll get you to 3000+ rpm quickly, and any percieved sluggishness will be eliminated.

The shop sent the heads out to worked over, I'm not sure who exactly did them.

Stock rear gears, but have already started thinking of changing those out.

Nice, that is all one can say. Time to buy a new set of rear tires? Heck make that a pair of slicks.

That is the truth!!

Baby spins big time on the 1-2 shift! Not to mention off the line, and that is with the 315s that are on their now.

glad to hear you finally have the car back. i know you went through a lot of bull poopy to get it. Those are greta looking number! I honestly thought stage sthree heads and headers woul have added a little more to that car. i am almost certain i remember a stock LT4 vett going with stage 3 LT4 head porting and polishing and i think he got about 22rwhp. those headers alone should be worth a LOT but i guess you already had the catback before you did them. I am still curious if a bigger throttle body, bigger injectors, or something like that might help you gain a lot more power than you think.

I was a little disappointed with the torque numbers. I think the HP is pretty good, but thought I would gain more torque than I did.

I am still very happy with the results, and the car is even more fun to drive...if that is possible.
